Sets the Stage for Exciting Events

The Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation Inc., (BPTCFI) under the leadership of Ms. Isabel Garcia, Chairperson, and Ms. Vicky Garcia, Adviser, held a productive meeting on September 26, 2023. The meeting agenda centered around key events on the horizon: the Pawikan Festival 2023, Miss Bataan next year, and the opening of โ€œAklatang Pangkasaysayan ng Bataanโ€.

Top on the agenda was the eagerly anticipated Pawikan Festival 2023. This annual event promises to be a celebration of culture, heritage, and marine life, drawing visitors from near and far.

Looking ahead to the following year, plans for the Miss Bataan pageant were also unveiled. This prestigious competition showcases the grace, talent, and intelligence of Bataan’s young women.

In addition to these exciting events, the meeting also marked the official opening of the “Aklatang Pangkasaysayan ng Bataan,” a historical mini-library. Located within the Bataan Tourism Center on Roman Highway, City of Balanga, this charming bookcase is stocked with volumes that delve into the rich history of Bataan and its role in World War II.

The BPTCFI invites everyone to explore this treasure trove of knowledge, offering a deeper understanding of the province’s heritage. As these initiatives unfold, Bataan continues to be a hub for culture, history, and tourism, welcoming all to its captivating stories and experiences.
