The Bataan Provincial Tourism Office under the leadership of Ms. Alice D. Pizarro paid a courtesy call to the Local Chief Executives of the Municipalities of Limay, Mariveles, Morong, and Bagac. The meeting was held to inform and update the municipalities on the ongoing initiatives and ordinances being implemented by the Provincial Tourism Office and Provincial Government of Bataan. Ms. Pizarro spoke with the mayors regarding the ongoing projects of the office such as the Bataan VIS.I.TA App, Tourism Development Plan, and the Provincial Ordinance on setting standards for regulating toilets/comfort rooms in hot spots and in tourism-related establishments, and Provincial Ordinance on mandating pool/resort owners/managers/operators and similar business within the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Bataan to provide duly trained, certified and licensed lifeguard/s and lifeguarding equipment in their operation, providing penalties for violation thereof and other purposes.
 
The Provincial Tourism Officer also reaffirms its continuous partnership and support to the municipalities through offering dissemination and promotion of the municipalities’ ongoing programs, invitation for ocular inspection of undiscovered tourist spots, and providing consultation on the execution of tourism-related projects. The local chief executives also shared their upcoming projects that will be mutually beneficial to the local government unit and to its local citizens.The office will schedule another courtesy call to the remaining city and municipalities. The Provincial Tourism Office works harmoniously with its industry partners and local government units for the province of Bataan to continue to be on the rise.
