Bataan Tourism Office Holds Seminar on Destination Marketing Through Social Media

As part of the celebration of English Competency Week (ECW) 2025, the Provincial Government of Bataan, through the Provincial Tourism Office, conducted a seminar on “Destination Marketing Through Social Media” on September 17, 2025, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga.
With the theme “English as a Passport: Bataeños Ready for the World,” the seminar highlighted how English proficiency and digital tools can open global opportunities for Bataan’s tourism industry.
Resource speakers from JG Worldwide led the sessions, including Mr. Zooz B. Paraso on “The Language of Marketing: Communicating the Right Audience Unlocks Global Opportunities for Bataeños,” Ms. Raeneil Japs P. Inocencio on “Speaking Business: How English and Digital Content Can Take Your Brand Goal,” and Mr. Mark Vinze Montero, CEO and Co-Founder of JG Worldwide, who facilitated a hands-on Brand Discovery workshop that guided participants in identifying their unique brand essence and strategies.

The event gathered representatives from DOT-accredited establishments, fostering collaboration and shared learning to strengthen Bataan’s tourism promotion.
Anchored on the English Competency Ordinance authored by then Board Member, now Congressman Atty. Tony Roman, the ECW celebration continues to promote English proficiency as a tool for personal growth and global competitiveness.
