Beach Safety Guidance: JellyFish Awareness
To strengthen safety measures in our beach and coastal areas, the Department of Tourism has released ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ก๐ผ. ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ-๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ญ, issued on May 22, 2025. This initiative aims to prevent marine pest-related incidents and ensure the well-being of our guests and tourism workers.
๐๏ธ In line with DOT Memorandum Circulars No. 2023-0003 and 2024-0002, we urge all accredited accommodation establishments to review and implement the safety protocols outlined in the guidance.
