    EMPOWERING FILIPINO HOSPITALITY: FBSE SEMINAR CONCLUDES AT PUNTABELLE NATURE RESORT AND FARM ADVENTURE On November 5, 2025, the Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Provincial Tourism Office, successfully concluded the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar at Puntabelle Nature Resort and Farm Adventure in Hermosa, Bataan. A total of 38 service employees participated in this flagship program designed to standardize exceptional Filipino frontline service. Led by FBSE Master Trainer Dr. Jay A. Aquino, Ph.D., and assisted by DOT Representative Mr. Nathan Palma, the seminar emphasized the core values of Filipino hospitality: warmth, care, and genuine service.

    This initiative aims to elevate the tourism industry by showcasing the unique Filipino touch in customer service, enhancing the overall experience for visitors and promoting the country as a premier destination.

    Bataan Tourism Office Holds Seminar on Destination Marketing Through Social Media

    As part of the celebration of English Competency Week (ECW) 2025, the Provincial Government of Bataan, through the Provincial Tourism Office, conducted a seminar on “Destination Marketing Through Social Media” on September 17, 2025, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga.
    With the theme “English as a Passport: Bataeños Ready for the World,” the seminar highlighted how English proficiency and digital tools can open global opportunities for Bataan’s tourism industry.
    Resource speakers from JG Worldwide led the sessions, including Mr. Zooz B. Paraso on “The Language of Marketing: Communicating the Right Audience Unlocks Global Opportunities for Bataeños,” Ms. Raeneil Japs P. Inocencio on “Speaking Business: How English and Digital Content Can Take Your Brand Goal,” and Mr. Mark Vinze Montero, CEO and Co-Founder of JG Worldwide, who facilitated a hands-on Brand Discovery workshop that guided participants in identifying their unique brand essence and strategies.

    The event gathered representatives from DOT-accredited establishments, fostering collaboration and shared learning to strengthen Bataan’s tourism promotion.
    Anchored on the English Competency Ordinance authored by then Board Member, now Congressman Atty. Tony Roman, the ECW celebration continues to promote English proficiency as a tool for personal growth and global competitiveness.

    From your Bataan Tourism faOn September 10, 2025, the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar was successfully conducted at Camaya Coast, Mariveles, Bataan. The FBSE, a flagship program of the Department of Tourism (DOT) implemented through the Provincial Tourism Office, aims to strengthen the national branding of tourism services by highlighting and integrating core Filipino values into service delivery.
    A total of 77 tourism industry workers took part in the learning session, which was facilitated by FBSE Trainer Mr. Gil T. Regondola, with the support of DOT Representative Ms. Nikka Nulud. While FBSE seminars are usually conducted in individual establishments, the participants of this session showed notable enthusiasm and active involvement throughout the day’s activities.

    The seminar highlighted key topics such as the 7Ms of Filipino Hospitality and the proper execution of the Mabuhay Gesture, both of which embody the unique warmth and service excellence that define Filipino hospitality. Maraming salamat po at Mabuhay!

    Unveiling Ceremony of Bataan Heritage Tree Marker

    The Bataan Heritage Tree Marker was unveiled on September 10, 2025, in Brgy. Laon, Abucay, Bataan. This initiative is in accordance with Ordinance No. 14, Series of 2020, or the “Ordinance Mandating the Preservation of Century and Heritage Trees in the Province of Bataan and providing for the Creation of a Special Technical Committee for the Purpose.”
    The event was spearheaded by the Abucay Tourism Officer Mr. Genel Llanes, together with Municipal Mayor Hon. Erik J. Martel. It was attended by Provincial Tourism Officer Ms. Danica Lolita C. Tigas, Hon. Erwin Villanueva, representing Hon. Concon Dela Rosa, and Abucay Supervising Administrative Officer Mr. Herbert Ryan S. Vianzon.

    The unveiling highlights Bataan’s continuing commitment to preserving its cultural and natural heritage, ensuring that future generations recognize and value the town’s historical and environmental treasures.

    The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar was successfully conducted on September 9, 2025, at the Waterfront Beach Resort in partnership with the Morong Beach Resort and Tourism Stakeholders Association Inc. The Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Provincial Tourism Office, spearheaded the flagship training led by FBSE Master Trainer Mr. Jay A. Aquino, with the assistance of DOT Representative Mr. Ell Salta.

    A total of 45 participants from various establishments took part in the seminar, which seeks to integrate Filipino values into frontline services and institutionalize a culture of service excellence across the tourism industry. The Provincial Tourism Office extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partners and participants for their continued support in strengthening Bataan’s commitment to quality tourism services.
