Bataan Eco-Tour Guides Training
The Provincial Tourism Office, in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), marked the first day of the Bataan Eco-Tour Guides Training on August 24, 2026, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga, Bataan. The training commenced with an opening message from Acting Provincial Tourism Officer Ms. Danica Lolita C. Tigas. A total of 34 representatives from identified community-based ecotourism organizations and Local Government Units (LGUs) attended the learning session.
The seven-day training formally began with the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) module, facilitated by Mr. Jay Aquino, FBSE Master Trainer and Resource Speaker, with the assistance of Ms. Nikka Nulud, DOT Training Representative. The FBSE is one of the DOTโs flagship programs that focuses on enhancing the character and capabilities of tourism workers by instilling the values of excellent Filipino service in the tourism and hospitality industry. The introductory module sets the foundation for the participants as they prepare to become competent and service-oriented eco-tour guides in Bataan.
