    Araw ni Tomas Pinpin

    Ngayong Hulyo 29, 2026, ginunita ang Araw ni Tomas Pinpin sa Barangay Mabatang, Abucay bilang pagpupugay sa pamana nitong kasaysayan, isang tubong Abucay na kinikilala bilang kauna-unahang Pilipinong manlilimbag at manunulat.

    Ang paggunita ay pinangunahan ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng Abucay sa pamamagitan ng Abucay Tourism Office, at dinaluhan ni Punong Bayan Hon. Erik J. Martel, ng Provincial Tourism Office, mga opisyal ng lokal na pamahalaan, mga kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya, at mga miyembro ng komunidad. Ang pagdiriwang ay nagsilbing pagpupugay sa mahalagang ambag ni Tomas Pinpin sa kasaysayan, panitikan, at kultura ng Bataan.

    Kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino, muli nating pinagmamalaki ang mga original songs ng BTN Pop Season 3 sa pamamagitan ng kanilang official lyric videos.

    Hindi lang ito tungkol sa pagbahagi ng kanilang musika, isa rin itong paraan ng pagkilala sa talento, kuwento, at creativity ng ating mga homegrown musicians na patuloy na nag-aambag sa lumalawak na original music community ng Bataan.

    Ngayong araw, tampok si Dors at ang kaniyang original song na You Know. Pakinggan ang kanta, sabayan ang lyrics, at samahan kaming ipagdiwang ang musikang sariling atin. Sa bawat pakikinig at pagbabahagi, nakakatulong tayong mas maraming tao ang makadiskubre ng original music na likha ng mga Bataeño. All Original. All Bataan.

    DOT X PTOUR Mobile Accreditation in Limay

    DOT X PTOUR Mobile Accreditation in Limay

    The Department of Tourism (DOT), in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office, successfully conducted the DOT Mobile Accreditation Caravan for tourism stakeholders in the Municipality of Limay on July 23, 2026. The activity was held under the Provincial Government of Bataan’s Bisita Bayan Program, which aims to bring government services closer to the people.

    A total of 23 tourism establishments participated in the activity with the assistance of Limay Municipal Tourism Officer, Mr. Arthur Quezon. Representatives from the DOT, Mr. Erwin Tamayo and Ms. Heide Sulangi, led the orientation and accreditation process with the support of Ms. Remsel Delmo of DOT Region III.
    The participants also received a briefing from Limay Municipal MENRO, Mr. Johnny Mandocdoc, on the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR–EMB) compliance as part of the DOT accreditation requirements. The activity concluded with the on-site validation of the participants’ documents.

    DOT X PTOUR Mobile Accreditation in Abucay

    The Provincial Tourism Office, together with the Department of Tourism (DOT), concluded the DOT Mobile Accreditation for Tourism-Related Establishments (TREs) on July 22, 2026, in the Municipality of Abucay. The activity is an initiative under the Bisita Bayan Program of the Provincial Government of Bataan to make public services more accessible to the constituents of the province.

    The DOT Mobile Accreditation provided an avenue to create an accessible channel between the Regional, Provincial, and Municipal Governments and tourism stakeholders to encourage registered tourism establishments to apply for DOT accreditation. The session officially commenced with a warm opening message from Acting Provincial Tourism Officer Dr. Danica Lolita C. Tigas, who welcomed the participants. In support of the Municipal Tourism Office, Mr. Genel Llanes, 12 interested TREs joined the orientation to better understand the DOT accreditation process and its benefits to local tourism businesses. The discussion on the overview and accreditation process was facilitated by Mr. Erwin Tamayo and Ms. Heide Sulangi, with assistance from Ms. Remsel Delmo of DOT Region III.

    Various queries regarding the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR–EMB) compliance, which is one of the requirements for DOT accreditation, were raised during the discussion. Mr. LLord Vien Baltazar, Acting MENRO of LGU Abucay, was present to assist in addressing the concerns of the constituents. Mr. Dexter Pol Llanda, Municipal Administrator of Abucay, also expressed his support for the activity. The on-site validation of the establishments’ documents was also conducted as the final part of the program.

    Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar

    The Department of Tourism (DOT), through the Provincial Tourism Office, successfully concluded the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar on July 21, 2026, training the on-call and newly hired workforce of La Jolla Hotel and Beach Resort in Bagac. The activity officially commenced with a warm welcome and a short congratulatory message from Acting Provincial Tourism Officer Dr. Danica Lolita C. Tigas, who congratulated the establishment on being recognized as one of the country’s 4-star-rated resorts. Mr. Augusto B. Leoncio, Human Resource Manager of La Jolla Hotel and Beach Resort, also expressed his support for the initiative.

    A total of 46 participants were introduced to the DOT’s flagship training program, led by FBSE Master Trainer and Resource Speaker Dr. Jay Aquino, with assistance from DOT staff member Mr. Erwin Joshua Salta. This national initiative of the Department of Tourism, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan, aims to standardize Filipino hospitality and promote tourism service excellence in the province, the region, and ultimately, the country.

    Suporta para sa Balik-Eskwela ng mga Mag-aaral ng Bahay-Wika

    Ngayong ika-17 ng Hulyo 2026, isinagawa ng Provincial Tourism Office ang pamamahagi ng mga bag at t-shirt sa mga mag-aaral ng Bahay-Wika bilang bahagi ng patuloy nitong suporta sa programa at sa aktibong pakikilahok ng mga mag-aaral sa mga gawaing pangwika at pangkultura. Ang mga kagamitang ito ay magsisilbing suporta sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pagpasok sa Bahay-Wika at magsusulong ng pagkakakilanlan at pagmamalaki bilang mga mag-aaral ng programa.
    Higit pa rito, layunin ng inisyatibong ito na mahikayat ang mga magulang na patuloy na suportahan ang pagdalo ng kanilang mga anak sa Bahay-Wika at mapalakas ang kanilang pagpapahalaga sa wika at kulturang Ayta Magbukun.
