DOT X PTOUR Mobile Accreditation in Morong

The Department of Tourism (DOT), in partnership with the Provincial Tourism Office of Bataan, brought the DOT x PTOUR Mobile Accreditation to the Municipality of Morong on September 15, 2026, at the Tourism and Cultural Heritage Center in Ibabao, Binaritan, Morong, Bataan.
The onsite accreditation caravan provided local tourism stakeholders with direct assistance in their tourism accreditation applications, making the process more accessible and convenient for establishments in Morong.

The activity guided participants through the accreditation process, including the preparation and submission of documentary requirements through the accreditation portal. The DOT Region III Accreditation Team and the Office of the Provincial Tourism Officer were on site to assist applicants, answer their concerns, and provide guidance on the requirements and standards for accreditation.

Participants also received an orientation on the Environmental Management Bureau’s Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) and Certificate of Non-Coverage (CNC), providing them with a better understanding of the environmental requirements relevant to their tourism operations.
The caravan also included the physical inspection of applicants as part of the accreditation process, allowing the accreditation team to provide onsite guidance and assistance directly to tourism establishments.

Through the DOT x PTOUR Mobile Accreditation, the Department of Tourism and the Provincial Tourism Office continue to bring tourism accreditation services closer to local stakeholders and support tourism establishments in meeting the necessary requirements and standards.
