Focused Training on the Conservation of Historical Markers in the Province of Bataan
In line with the continuous efforts to preserve Bataan’s heritage sites, the Bataan Provincial Tourism Office, in partnership with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP), conducted the first day of the Focused Training on the Conservation of Historical Markers in the Province of Bataan today, October 15, 2026, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga.
The hands-on workshop focused on the proper techniques for conserving and maintaining historical markers, with the participation of representatives from various Local Government Units (LGUs) and different stakeholders. The initiative aims to strengthen local capacities and raise awareness of the importance of preserving Bataan’s historical markers as significant symbols of the province’s rich cultural heritage.
