Look: The Department of Tourism – Region III conducted a workshop on Sustainable Tourism Development Planning and Monitoring on June 27, 2025 at Ephatha Development Center, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
Led by tourism expert John Paolo R. Rivera, Ph.D., the session focused on balancing people, planet, and profit—emphasizing practical and sustainable tourism strategies. Participants wrapped up the day by crafting tailored Tourism Development Plans for their respective provinces and municipalities.
DOT-III Regional Director Richard Daenos expressed his gratitude to the participants and reminded everyone that, “We must plan with purpose—not just for profit. Let’s become stewards, not just service providers.”
