1,600 Job Seekers Join DOLE Kalayaan Job Fair at SM City Bataan
In celebration of the country’s Independence Day and in support of employment generation efforts, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with SM City Bataan, successfully conducted the Kalayaan Job Fair at SM City Bataan, drawing a total of 1,600 registered job seekers.

The event gathered various local and national employers offering career opportunities across a wide range of industries, providing applicants with direct access to potential employers and valuable employment prospects. Thousands of job seekers took advantage of the opportunity to explore available positions, submit applications, and participate in on-the-spot interviews. The job fair served as an accessible and convenient venue for applicants to connect with companies actively seeking qualified candidates. Among the event’s notable outcomes were four applicants who were hired on the spot (HOTS), highlighting the effectiveness of job fairs in helping individuals secure immediate employment while enabling companies to efficiently fill workforce requirements.
The Kalayaan Job Fair is part of DOLE’s continuing commitment to promoting employment and improving access to livelihood opportunities for Filipinos. Through initiatives such as this, job seekers are empowered to pursue meaningful careers and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
