A big thank you to all participating groups for showcasing creativity, discipline, and teamwork during yesterday’s competition held on November 26, at the Bataan People’s Center, City of Balanga. Your performances highlighted not only your talent, but also your commitment to raising awareness for pawikan conservation.
The official announcement of the champion will be made during the celebration of Pawikan Festival 2025 on November 29 at the Pawikan Conservation Center, Brgy. Nagbalayong, Morong.

Pawikan Festival 2025 is just around the corner, and this November 29 at the Pawikan Conservation Center, Morong, we come together once again to celebrate, protect, and honor our beloved Pawikan. This year, we are excited to welcome Ms. Antoinette Taus, Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), as our special guest, joining us in inspiring communities to care for our environment.

From the heartwarming Walk for a Cause, the releasing of hatchlings, to creative competitions like Pawikan Hat Making, Sand Sculpture, and Paddle Painting, the day is filled with activities that bring families, advocates, and nature lovers together. Also, stay tuned as the champion of the Pawikan Creative Dance Competition will be awarded on the same day, adding even more excitement to the celebration. It’s a day of art, action, and appreciation for our marine friends and the people who protect them. Together, let’s make a difference and help save the Pawikan!

Congratulations to the Winners of the Pawikan Quiz Bee 2025!

A big round of applause to all our young eco-champions who showcased their knowledge, passion, and love for marine conservation during the Pawikan Quiz Bee held last November 24–25, 2025 at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion, City of Balanga. From Elementary, Junior High School, to Senior High School categories, each participant proved that Bataan’s youth are ready to lead the way in protecting our pawikan and caring for the environment. Your hard work, teamwork, and dedication truly shined on stage.
To our champions, runners-up, and coaches, congratulations! Your achievement reflects not only academic excellence but also a deep commitment to environmental awareness and conservation.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners DepEd Bataan and DepEd City of Balanga for their continuous support and collaboration in nurturing young learners and strengthening environmental education in the province.

Day 5 of the Pawikan Environmental Forum reaches students in Mariveles and LImay

The last day of the province-wide Pawikan Environmental Forum was held on November 21, 2025, bringing the program to Bayview Elementary School in Municipality of Mariveles and Kitang Elementary School in Municipality of Limay.
As we conclude this week-long effort, the program continues to strengthen awareness and encourage shared responsibility in protecting Bataan’s marine resources, especially our Pawikan.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the school heads, teachers, students, and dedicated partners who warmly supported this initiative. Your cooperation and enthusiasm have been essential to the success of our conservation efforts. Maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat!

This November 27, sa pangunguna ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Bayan ng Morong, sama-sama tayong babalik sa kalikasan para kilalanin, alagaan, at ipagdiwang ang ating mga pawikan.
Mula sa Eco-Fun Walk sa umaga, Eco Pledge Wall kung saan maaari kang mag-iwan ng pangakong para sa kalikasan, hanggang sa masining na Art Festival at interactive activities sa Likha at Likas, this day is all about reconnecting with nature and uplifting community action.
Araw ito ng paglalakad, paglikha, pag-aaral, pero higit sa lahat, araw ng pagtulong sa pawikan at sa ating kalikasan. Tara, balik pawikan tayo.
