Beach Safety Guidance: JellyFish Awareness

To strengthen safety measures in our beach and coastal areas, the Department of Tourism has released 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟬𝟬𝟭, issued on May 22, 2025. This initiative aims to prevent marine pest-related incidents and ensure the well-being of our guests and tourism workers.

🏖️ In line with DOT Memorandum Circulars No. 2023-0003 and 2024-0002, we urge all accredited accommodation establishments to review and implement the safety protocols outlined in the guidance.

Musika ng Kalayaan at Pasasalamat Handog ng Team 1Balanga at 1Bataan

Bataeños, handa na ba kayong makisaya at maki-sing along? Bilang pasasalamat sa inyong patuloy na suporta at pagdiriwang sa Araw ng Kalayaan, magkakaroon po tayo ng free concert.
Ang concert na ito ay handog nina Mayor Francis at Mayora Raquel, mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Balanga, Cong. Jett ng Pusong Pinoy Partylist kasama ang buong Team 1Bataan. Isang gabi ng world-class performances sa direksyon ni John Prats tampok sina:

Dahil sa pabago-bagong panahon at pag-ulan sa ating lalawigan, minabuti po nating sa Bataan People’s Center na natin ganapin ang ating concert. Abangan sa Huwebes, ika-5 ng Hunyo, ang mga detalye at paalala tungkol sa ating pasasalamat concert, manatiling nakaantabay sa ating social media pages. Kita-kits, Bataeños!

FBSE Seminar Empowers Frontliners in Mariveles

The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) Seminar, a flagship training program by the Department of Tourism – Region III (DOT), in coordination with the Provincial Tourism Office of Bataan, was held on May 30, 2025, at Romalaine’s Seafood Restaurant in the Municipality of Mariveles. This specialized training aims to standardize the hospitality services of the frontline workforce by incorporating Filipino culture as a national branding identity.

A total of 68 participants, composed of stakeholders from various related fields such as employees and owners of restaurants, hotels, cafés, resorts, government employees, barangay tourism committees, and members of the academe in the locality joined the activity.
Interactive discussions and workshops were conducted by FBSE Accredited Trainer and Resource Speaker Mr. Gil Tesoro Regondola, assisted by DOT Representative Ms. Nikka Nulud.
Topics covered during the seminar included the 7Ms of Filipino Hospitality and Service Excellence, the Mabuhay Gesture, among others.
