The 7-day Bataan Eco-Tour Guides Training concluded its last module on August 29–30, 2026, at the Bataan Tourism Pavilion
Featuring its final activity, Basic First Aid and Mountaineering, led by DOT Resource Speaker Ms. Myrna Tubeo, together with Mr. Melchor Padilla and Mr. Edwin Aguilar as her co-facilitators for the last 2-day session.
The participants underwent hands-on training on tent pitching through camp and station setting, essential mountaineering skills such as knot tying, and various bandaging techniques as part of basic life support in case of unexpected circumstances during a nature walk.
This specialized training aims to elevate the skills of local frontline workforces, encouraging the development and promotion of sustainable tourism across Bataan and, ultimately, the Region.
