The Bataan Eco-Tour Guides Training commenced its second day of the seven-day training on August 25, 2026, at the 4th Floor Conference Hall, The Bunker. The second module delved into Flora and Fauna, led by DOT Resource Speaker Mr. Antonio Felipe T. Arbias, with the assistance of DOT Training Representative Mr. Erwin Joshua Salta.

In this module, participants familiarized themselves with various native trees, wild and rare flowers, migratory birds, and insects, including proper ways to approach and promote these natural resources sustainably to help conserve biodiversity. The eco-tour guide aspirants were immersed in learning about selected interesting species of flora and fauna and were given notable pointers on how to share information with guests and appreciate what nature has to offer in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The module will be followed by the third session, which will focus on birdwatching activities and lectures on the third day. The training will continue until August 30, 2026.
