Paggunita sa Ika-84 na Anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kagitingan
Ginunita ngayong ika-9 ng Abril 2026 sa Mt. Samat National Shrine sa Pilar, Bataan ang ika-84 na anibersaryo ng Araw ng Kagitingan, sa pangunguna ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., bilang pag-alala sa kabayanihan at sakripisyong ipinamalas ng mga sundalo noong Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig.
Ang seremonya ay nagsilbing pagpupugay sa katatagan at walang kapantay na tapang ng mga bayani ng Bataan na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan ng bansa. Dinaluhan ito ng mga opisyal ng pamahalaan, mga beterano, at iba’t ibang sektor, kasama rin ang mga kinatawan mula sa Japan at United States of America bilang bahagi ng makasaysayang paggunita. Higit pa sa isang paggunita, binigyang-diin sa programa ang kahalagahan ng pagpapanatili ng diwa ng kagitingan sa pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, pagmamahal sa bayan, at kahandaang magsakripisyo para sa kapakanan ng nakararami.
Ipinapaabot din ang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga beterano at kanilang mga pamilya sa kanilang mahalagang ambag sa kalayaan na tinatamasa ng bansa sa kasalukuyan. Ang kanilang katapangan ay patuloy na magsisilbing inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino. Mabuhay ang mga beterano! Mabuhay ang Bataan! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!
